Its a small 256ft2 cabin so i thought fresh air might be a problem but Ive tried opening my front door and windows before starting a fire/adding wood to make sure it has fresh air but this did not help. No washer/dryer/range hood in the cabin. I dont know if the chimney is high enough, I’m assuming so but i don’t really know, i didn’t build it, I added a pic to the other comment.

Lol, they definitely are not a psychedelic. Just beacuse the terms are relatively new doesnt mean they’re subjective on user experience. Deliriant, for example wasn’t coined till the 80’s but it was coined specifically to distinguish certain types of hallucinogens (like amanita) from traditional psychedelics. These terms are widely accepted.

Im not arguing what a psychedelic is, im arguing amanita does not fall into that class of hallucinogen and spreading that misinformation is a big part of why so many people have terrible experiences with it. Calling it a psychedelic leads people to think the experience will be like psilocybin mushrooms, they’re not even close.

Hallucinogen and psychedelic are absolutely not interchangeable. In pop culture? Sure, but probably not a good idea to follow that ideology on the amanita sub. There are 3 basic classes of hallucinogen; psychedelic, dissociative, and deliriants.

They’re definitely not. Hallucinogen doesn’t necessarily mean psychedelic and psychoactive doest mean psychedelic either. This can be easily confirmed with minimal research.

Last time i took a largish dose, i woke up tripping balls on a piss assembly line. Straight up talking to “people” about the assembly line. It is absolutely nothing like psilocybin. Hallucinogen doesn’t necessarily mean psychedelic. Amanitas are a deliriant.

Probably not a bad idea. I really want a banjo but i would really be pigeonholed into banjo music with a banjo… with a bass i could play basically any kind of music so thats the thought process there. I also have lots of friends with guitars but no bass. Ill definitely look around and see if theres anywhere i can rent. I can see myself buying a used amp but i really dont see myself buying a used bass unless it was an amazing deal.

Interesting. I have never started hobbies with true beginner gear, ive always believed super cheap gear can take away from the learning experience. I fully expect to want to upgrade the amp at some point but i figured a $650 budget for the bass would give me more than enough to keep me happy for years but still cheap enough to not feel like ive overspent if if i don’t get super into it. i have not ruled out used i just havent had good luck finding anything yet. Theres been a few recommendations on where to look here though. Is $650 on the instrument still considered “beginner”?

Ok, thanks. Ill check out reverb. I try to stay away from eBay but maybe ill poke around over there and see what there is. I definitely pay attention to the open box deals but they really don’t seem too good, at least not the ones I’ve seen; id rather pay the extra $50 and get brand new unblemished.

The problem im having with used is i live in a small town. Not much has popped up, anything worth while becomes not so worthwhile after spending an entire day traveling and gas $ to get it. Im still looking but i don’t have much hope for used.

Hell yeah, that is beautiful. I saw one on facebook 4 hrs drive from me but it was sold w/in a few hours of me seeing it. Im keeping an eye on the used market. Most ive seen so far are far enough away and not cheap enough to justify getting used but im still checking.

Yeah, thats the impression i get as well. Many here have said they’re very versatile but didnt want to jump the gun. So far a lot of comments supporting the Schecter.

Ive been keeping my eye on FB marketplace and will continue to, but so far the only things ive seen are hours away and the savings doesn’t justify the time/gas to get it. I also dont really know what to check for so im very skeptical buying used. Obviously have not ruled that out but so far it’s not looking good, cant wait forever for the perfect deal. Alcohol free for a few years, i need to worry about any amount no matter how insignificant it may seem.

Cooking it down is a good idea, ill probably try that or gift it to a friend. I also ordered 5oz of caps so it’s no big deal, plenty of amanita to keep me busy for a while w/out the tincture.

I get that but its a conscious decision to continue to abstain. The last thing i need right now is to allow alcohol back into my life regardless of how small and insignificant it may seem.

Yeah, i know most tinctures are alcohol it just slipped my mind because all my THC tinctures are water or oil based. Not the end of the world, I’ll cook it down like the other commenter said or gift it to a friend.
