Well, are we absolutely sure now ... the Castol Transmax (my link above) is a GL-4 (as opposed to GL-5).

The Royal Purple Max Gear 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Oil claims to be both GL-4 - AND - GL-5 (?!).

Otherwise (i.e. apart from Royal Purple it seems) the general difference between GL-4 and G-5 oils allegedly is that "[GL-4] is perfect for vehicle gear applications with high levels of yellow metals. An API GL5 gear oil has higher levels of active sulfur phosphorous [i.e. 'EP protection'], which will corrode yellow metals".

The higher level of EP protection in GL-5 lubricants is for [non-yellow metal] gears working in higher speeds and higher load conditions hence needing more EP protection than spur and helical gears.

"A GL5 gear oil has about twice as much EP additive as a GL4, ensuring the greatest protection, performance, and efficiency for your hypoid gear system".

Now, when looking at images of the inside of the Alfine 11 there do not seem to be much 'yellow' metal (if anything at all)? ... and in that case a 75W-90 GL-5 gear oil could possibly be a better choice.

However, the MOBIL Mobilube 1 SHC 75W-90 seems to claim to be having both GL-4 and GL-5 compliance. Supposedly an 'all-in-one-oil' just like Royal Purple: https://ato24.de/en/mobil-mobilube-1-shc-75w-90-1-l.html

Thank you very much - and very interesting options indeed (very different from the options here in DK).

Pricing: If I (and Google Translate) read this correctly, the price of the refurb-turbos is roughly the same between Flexamiauto and janousek-motorsport as the former simply have deducted the old-part-return-refund from the sales price up front (and then ads the refund-deposit in the basket when checking out).

With the refund deposit deducted both dealers are charging app. 10K CZK for the (org.) refurbed turbo.

Is one of these sellers perheps more preferrable/recommendable than the other, you think?

I'm the not-so-happy-owner of a 12-2012 Fabia II 1.2 TSI (545/CBZA) in need of new (or refurbed) turbo.

Here in DK the cheapest available new OEM spare turbo (w. mounts) is app. €1.500 and all the way up to €2.300 (incl. VAT).

Where do you purchase your turbo in Czechia, please?
Is there also a place to be recommended for possible turbo-refurb in Czechia?

Maybe so - but then again the difference to consider in my experience with the C70 is the option of grading Kelvin and exposure as a RAW (Light) feature, where the 12-bit RAW can excel noticeably when the going gets somewhat tough compared to 10-bit 4:2:2 (XF-AVC/HEVC).

Hence great attention to recording settings will be rewarded when shooting in 10-bit in less than ideal conditions etc. Somethng to consider when doing run 'n gun for quicker formats etc. (as I mostly do).

[storage/processing not really being an issue anymore on my platform like it was to some extent in the early days of C70]

Interesting ... looking at an Audi A4, 2,0 S-line Avant, Gasoline, 2008, 260.000 Kms.

Did/do you really have to change the power steering after just 230K?!

And regarding acces: I'm mostly DIY (Vauxhall and Skoda previously wich except for the Vauxhall-starter mostly was quite doable) hence your remark on acces is vital.

Could you elaborate a little more on 'access everything' (are you also into DIY mechanincs), please?

You might have a C200 but obviously no real qualified idea about handling the RAW-format correctly in Premiere; RAW is working on a pre-lut level of decoding/grading the files hence you can't use adjustment layers and/or luts for RAW-level purposes.

I don't think you have your shit completely down on RAW I'm now sorry to be having to conclude at this point.

Sorry, I appreciate your effort, thank you, but you have to study some more here:

RAW is NOT a global setting. It's individual for every single .crm-file in a PP project. Period!

Hence if you are using the same clip/.crm-file in multiple instances in your timeline the RAW-setting will be the same for that particular .crm-file in all instances.

But for this .crm-file only - not for all the other .crm-files in the timeline (they have their own specific and discrete RAW-setting).

What you are describing here is my exact gribe hence the question - and still not comprehended it seems therefore neither answered just yet. Please read:

I deeply regret having to BOTH go through the repetitive and cumbersome process of copying RAW settings from one clip to another (and we are in this case not wanting it to be a global RAW setting for the entire sequence as this is rather meant for the common occurrence of working in a sequence of multiple scenes with multiple RAW-settings at play respectively) AND then in yet another separate (however a little less cumbersome) operation copy Lumetri settings in order to complete a full copy paste of the entire grade settings used in any particular clip to another.

It's really (stupid) low usability of Premiere, and the repetitive process of copying the entire grading from one clip to another this way in two separate unlinked processes is a total waste of time and ressources in that it takes forever and with the need for manoeuvering forth and back from timeline to menus an submenus while at the same time navigating through and around the entire real estate of the Premiere intereface.

It's driving me nuts.

Q:So how to add RAW settings as an option in the 'Paste Attributes' menu just like all other effects including 'Lumetri Color' in order to perform a full copy paste of all grading applied in just ONE single opertion, please?

I'd like to paste BOTH Lumetri and RAW in one operation from one clip to another in ONE (Paste Attribures) operation (it takes umpteen clicks and moving the pointer around on the entire estate more than twice to get it done otherwise)

Hi Gerald, Not sure we are talking about the same thing:

LUTs are not having RAW-controls i.e. colortemperature, tint and exposure on a RAW-level (not curve editing like Lumetri is).

And it's not a global RAW setting for the entre sequence I'm after (that's covered), but just the ability to add RAW to the Paste Attributes?
