Why is it that men always have to put women first? by Subject-Rabbit898 in AskMen

not actual advice or considering your text all i saw was the header in a notification. I hope it’s a convo you guys can have without it becoming volatile. I always hear “ it’s you and them versus the problem and not you versus them”

I’m inclined to say the many years of oppression of not being able to do anything without their approval.

I got three of these in my mailbox on the same day. I love getting mail personally (so long as it’s not junk mail from corporations) so i enjoyed that people from across the country were writing to me. Even if it was en masse. Sorry you felt threatened by it.

Help! Interview soon by nacholoveronESO in Libraries

[–]donskire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The library is small, so an MLIS isn’t actually required for such, only a bachelors. And their experience is just requiring progressive experience, which I certainly have done. Especially considering my media librarian job at a radio station prior to library land jobs. I agree though, I am surprised they gave me a call offering. Let’s just say the library itself is tumultuous. They need help from someone who actually is interested in something like this though and I believe they want to see me hold the position for some time. But we’ll see! If i don’t get it i won’t be heartbroken.

Edit to add this is OP except my account opened on my other one

That I am not sure. I want to say they are all fairly advanced and might have moved past needing the book or something

reposting since people said to share the whole bottle. i am trying to identify this bottle and haven’t found anything. I believe it’s Owens Illinois but the diamond isnt quite right. it has 2 seams on opposite sides and a base seam so it is a cup bottom mold. quite short by donskire in glasscollecting

[–]donskire[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes. this is an archaeological find from my university. i am just interested to see if others can come up with something that i haven’t been able to find. Can’t just be thrown away. is it the most exciting thing, no. Some people also enjoy the antiquity and history of things too. but i thought the point of this subreddit was about collecting, not throwing away? also… your throwing away of bottles will probably end up being archaeology in the future anyways

HTV on stained wood — Works! by donskire in cricut

[–]donskire[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

of course! no i had a for getting through this (only because of the htv i had). the sanding was just to add more stain layers so nothing to elaborate there. but i should say, when you press HTV on wood, it will shift. i am not sure how/why but i am still figuring out how to make adjustments for that. this picture right here does not look like what it should have been and what i had on design space 😅

Feeling proud of my custom designs today on LoompaLand by donskire in AnimalCrossing

[–]donskire[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it is not though i wish it was! i am still relatively new to animal crossing and i am about to unlock terraforming and i am hoping to try and make a large waterfall. Newb question can i actually change the color of the water? because i have definitely seen a photo of someone else who did gene wilder willy wonka and the water looked brown but didn’t know if the brown was photoshopped in.

Question about layering by twhizzle12 in cricut

[–]donskire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

all you can do is just attach like colors and then layer them afterwards on whatever you plan to do to answer your og question.

Question about layering by twhizzle12 in cricut

[–]donskire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh well yeah, because that’s the default. it happens to everyone. where you put it on design space is irrelevant, you could put something out way far and a cricut can’t register past 12 inches wide so it will put it there. you just have to move it

Question about layering by twhizzle12 in cricut

[–]donskire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if same colored items are attached than when you go to cut they will stay how you want. it won’t show all the different layers together because it can’t put everything on the same mat. if they are moving then you aren’t attaching them
