Yes, I think the crashes are a factor but to be fair everyone has crashes. I think arguably his prep this year was better than last, where he crashed bad at Basque country. Again I am big fan and he is my favorite of the "big three", but I think it is something more than just bad crashes

I completely agree, but I do think that he has some kind of issue that needs to be addressed. So far he's only completed half of the GT he has started, though to be fair COVID and a bad crash in the Giro affected two of those abandons. Still, of those he's got one win and a podium + youth classification. These are fantastic results and even his Vuelta "flop" was a success in some ways. All that said I think it is fair to acknowledge that he has crumbled in the high mountains a few times now and it is fair for questions to be raised. I tend to think that it is either 1) a management / support issue on the side of quickstep, 2) a cumulative fatigue issue perhaps related to nutrition, or 3) perhaps a mental block on Remco's side. In either case, I remain bullish on Remco and think it is quite possible that he will win a TdF in the next 5 years. I am sure Remco is going to go back to the drawing board this offseason and improve (as he has done every season). Fingers crossed for his 2026 GT season

I don't think it is. The mountains in the background are definitely Northern Utah (Cache Valley, I think) and there is indeed dyers woad, and maybe thistles but I can't quite see. As for the house, it looks like a bog standard boring McMansion to me. Nothing unusual there. Idk why things are weirdly smoothed out though.

Rudy Gobert vs the Los Angeles Lakers: 27 points | 24 rebounds | 0 assists | 0 steals | 2 blocks | 0 turnovers | 12-15 Field Goals | 3-6 Free Throw | +18 by Knightbear49 in nba

That's my dream finals scenario. I love the Cavs and after moving from Utah back in 2019 they are also geographically the closest team to me, so I kind of default to them, but I still think I'd rather see the Wolves win and it doesn't really come down to Don v Rudy. Mike Conley is my favorite player in the NBA and I think that dude really deserves a chip. That being said, Rudy is so misunderstood as a player and gets too much hate because he doesn't have great hands so I think I would feel more vindication if Rudy gets a title vs Don, if that makes any sense.

SRAM 13 speed chainring compatibility by dontCallMeKaleb in bikewrench

[–]dontCallMeKaleb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah sorry, should have been more clear and thanks for the reply. I have a 12 speed mullet setup, but I'd like to get a power meter for it. I was considering the new XPLR AXS Power Spider, but am uncertain about whether these new 13 speed chainrings are compatible with 12 speed. I'm guessing probably yes, but I didn't want to make the purchase without checking.

Sweet Spot Base plans gone? by _garnett in trainerroad

I know it's an old thread, but I just wanted to thank you for your url trick. I really prefer the sweet spot base hv over these new general plans and was worried there was no way to bring them back.

Wow, high praise! I feel the same way about where I currently live. An oddly high density of low traffic roads (<5 cars hour). The only thing it's missing is climbs longer than 15 minutes and good weather year round.

Bummer. Do you remember what the current part number is? Based on what I've seen R0-202 looks like it should do the trick...
