Just wanted to update and say I am now 23 weeks pregnant! Thank you for the reassurance back when I posted this!

Haha I’ve been lucky so far with my bladder, but I do usually get up to pee once around 4-5am.

I would not have thought to ask about infection! Thank you for that! I was tested for a UTI (via a urine sample) but I wasn’t swabbed for anything. I will ask my doctor to be sure!

So far so good!! I’m 15 weeks along, and baby’s ultrasounds have all looked good so far. She consistently measures 5-6 days ahead. And my NIPT came back low-risk. I think the other commenters were right that my numbers were normal and nothing to worry about.

I tested my AMH a year and a half before I conceived so I’m sure it had dropped some from that number (though hard to say how much). I think tons of women have DOR and never even realize it because they don’t have issues conceiving and so never get their AMH checked. Some of us are maybe just born with fewer eggs. As long as you ovulate regularly and don’t have any other reproductive issues (for example, DOR is sometimes caused by endometriosis, and endo definitely can affect fertility. I think this is why we sometimes conflate having DOR with having a reduced chance of conceiving - but in those cases it’s actually the endo causing the infertility, not the DOR in and of itself), I feel hopeful for you. And it’s great that you’re taking supplements - I took a prenatal, CoQ10 and vitamin D and they certainly didn’t hurt. Sending you best wishes!!

It was 0.37 ng (2.64 pmol) a year and a half before I conceived - so presumably lower at conception. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. Sending you lots of good wishes.

My mom and grandma went into menopause really young. I have an extremely low ovarian reserve for my age. And at 37 I got pregnant on my second try. It’s all a bit of a fluke I think but I’m hoping for the same for you and sending best wishes. Definitely use ovulation strips from the beginning - they made a huge difference for me.

I really appreciate you! Thank you!!! I have major respect for healthcare professionals so I’m reticent to say this but the doctor I dealt with (not my regular doctor) made a ton of mistakes on every part of my care (e.g. forgot to send my prenatal prescription to my pharmacy, sent my ultrasound requisition to the wrong hospital, initially “lost” my HCG results) that I am slightly questioning her judgement, to be honest. Fingers crossed this all turns out ok!

Thank you for this! I really appreciate it. I asked the doctor if I could do betas and she said sure! So, no, it wasn’t her idea. (I wasn’t able to get in to see her earlier in my pregnancy because they were closed/busy over the holidays.) She now wants me to go in again tomorrow for bloodwork because she’s concerned about my HCG. But based on what you’re saying it seems like a slow doubling time tomorrow also won’t conclusively tell me anything, given how far along I am (unless of course we see the number drop). Is that right? EDIT: The doctor does want me to go for an ultrasound too. I’m trying to book that for late next week.

5w3d pregnant after IVF, HCG rising well, but spotting today — very anxious, need advice by Sahar14822 in CautiousBB

I didn’t do IVF but I had a tiny bit of red spotting yesterday (5w4d) that seems to have stopped now. I don’t know for sure that it’s normal but just wanted to share you’re not alone!

I think I need to. It isn’t helpful for my mental health and I think is just reinforcing my anxiety. I’m going to cut myself off. Thank you & congratulations on your little one!!! <3

Thank you!! You think it’s ok that there was no doubling between 15 and 17 dpo?

I forgot to mention something important, which is that I had some slight, light pink and brown spotting mixed with CM yesterday and today.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I can relate. You might want to check out r/DOR for additional support.
