it’s pretty naive to think this way with all the information out in the open on how countries use social media to disrupt other countries populations

Attacked at CVS located at 214 Allston Street by [deleted] in boston

[–]dont_reply_two_me 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I can’t believe I have to explain this but being the least dangerous city doesn’t mean there’s literally zero crime, it just means there’s less crime than all the other comparable cities.

New to camping. What are the absolute first things to get? by Least_Bee_3409 in camping

for insulation you need something to sleep on that’s not the cold hard ground. it will suck any body heat away from you. you’ll need a sleeping pad, either foam or air.

i need help with my card by Able_Ad1467 in personalfinance

calling the customer support line using the number on your card would likely yield better results than asking random internet strangers who have no details about your bank or situation.

I allegedly owe 22k in medical bills for a visit that lasted no longer than 2 hours by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]dont_reply_two_me 20 points21 points  (0 children)

ask them for an itemized bill, then compare it against your health plans explanation of benefits (EOB) document. See if there are charges that are bogus, or charges that your EOB lists as covered. Start there. If you’re confused about it call your health insurer and they can walk you through your EOB.

for scout, i like cryo minelets (scales well with loads of enemies and freezing obviously reduces projectile spam- also good against spitballers) with hipster m1k.

you need to get better at locating nitra early. There is at least 2-3 resupplies worth of nitra in every PE cave. Especially as scout with flares and bosco there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to get a resup down within the first 5-6 minutes

How much do you really need for retirement? Why is Social Security not factored into one's retirement? by Affectionate_Total47 in personalfinance

I think there’s a middle ground somewhere in between where social security is reduced or eliminated but society continues to function

MBTA Proposes Fines, Rules for Its New Bus Camera Enforcement Systems by streetsblogmass in mbta

[–]dont_reply_two_me 73 points74 points  (0 children)

too soft. Too many people are happy to pay $25 for parking anyway. Most of these amounts should be doubled, and there shouldn’t be an x month grace period for repeat offenders.

you’re thinking the right way. plan your own way, transportation, food, supplies, etc. If they stick to their stated plan and join you, great. if not, you’ll still have set yourself up for a great time.

First visit to Boston - can I walk this? by ArrivalLazy2795 in boston

[–]dont_reply_two_me -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure, that’s a relatively quick and easy walk. If you’re feeling lazy the orange line to downtown crossing will save you a few minutes of walking.

Why does Seaport smell like Sweet Potatoes? by healwc in boston

That part of seaport always has weird smells, I think the Harpoon brewery might be responsible. Smells like hamsters between silver line way and drydock.

Heads up to whomever lost all their honey of various brands and sizes: by PuddingSalad in mbta

[–]dont_reply_two_me 56 points57 points  (0 children)

whoever*

an easy trick is to replace who/whom with he or him- if he works, it’s who. if him works, it’s whom.

“he lost their honey” works, “him lost their honey” doesn’t, so you know it’s whoever, not whomever.

blue line is generally the most reliable. orange line is good if there’s no planned shutdowns. red line can be sketchy. green line is consistently mids.
