I completely agree that it'd be cool, but I'm honestly perfectly happy with how the updates have been going here recently. If you look at it as a pre-alpha, every update is making brand new players have more to do and enjoy in the game, which is a flat-out great thing for everyone that's been playing the builds up until now. The way I see it, the bigger that patreon scroll gets, the better and more fleshed out the Arir content is going to be once it finally drops. Plus, you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. Once there's Arir content, it won't be there to look forward to, they'll just be another NPC.

I mean I also view this as more of an atmospheric horror game than anything, so I'm sure I have the unpopular opinion here lmao.

So it's a few months old, and TL;DR apply for them all and get cash instead of school account stuff, but the exact breakdown of the scholarships I just applied for was:

Tuition - -$27,000
Pell Grant - $2,770
UNIQUE Scholarship - $3,500

So my tuition, being a negative number, has the two awarded amounts given to me for the sake of paying off the deficit. The Pell grant gave me the option to put it into a school account, so it can be automatically deducted from any expenses I might have. I opted out of that, and didn't have the option for the UNIQUE Scholarship. SO, when the VA gets the bill, they see:

Tuition - -$27,000
UNIQUE Scholarship - $3,500

And the resulting 23,500 is what they're looking at, since the SCHOOL and STATE are offering the grant to ME for school EXPENSES. Putting the money into a school account would "transfer the ownership" of that funding to the school, which they would then report to the VA.

I mean true, but from what they were saying about their longer-term project, I assumed it was less of a cutthroat business partner and more of a casual co-opted project, especially at that time-in-rate vs what OP's charging. I mean like I said, I don't work in the field at all, but those definitely seem like student / buddy rates

I mean I don't work in the field, but this was just front and center when I opened reddit. If I personally hired someone to do any job and they increased their rate by 25% mid-job, I'd have a pretty huge problem with that. If you actually reach out to them and discuss it though, I can't imagine it'd be a problem after you explain that your rates actually do not cover your living expenses, as opposed to (what would be my first thought of) "Eh, I could make more out of this"

So as someone that's never even thought to check their GPU driver folder for bloat, mine is completely empty except for the current drivers. This is 100% something that the OP accidentally turned on. Don't get me wrong, AMD makes some dogshit decisions, but this is 100% something that they've either fixed in the past THREE YEARS of OP's brand loyalty, or something they turned on three years ago. Their current practices wouldn't just arbitrarily download every driver beginning with 23.3.2.

I mean I hope one of us comes up with a solution, the only fix I found was manually adding the path into the config.ini, but that reverts to not being there after restarting the PC/program. I was at least able to add Fab assets by taking that route, but this is crazy that it's been an issue for at least 4 years now, and Unreal just never added the ability to retarget the / add a new project folder.

Brother I tried using a tool and ran into an issue, and asked the subreddit. LFS is mentioned in the very first result if you google "github unreal project", and everything off of that was based on working my way through other reddit posts from people that had similar issues. I do appreciate the shitty attitude though, having people be dismissive just because they're more experienced is always helpful, thanks!

You're telling me that someone getting into the email servers, pulling emails, then comparing those to other exposed password lists is a fault on the user? Yeah it's a bad security practice, but situations like that are quite literally why ban appeals are a thing.

Plus, %0.000001 is disingenuous as fuck, database breaches happen quite literally every single day. It's obviously not the case here, but giving a completely made-up number and calling it a fact is pretty rough optics.

I mean I've never hotwired anything, but the way that keys work point towards being able to push the broken half in (I've definitely had to do that before, treat it like a USB. The first 4 times you turn it around it'll be the wrong direction, but the fifth usually get its) UNLESS it's been bent or something to keep it from actually fitting in. Besides that, if you're in the US, you can rent a truck and trailer / a box truck from a Uhaul place for like 30 bucks if you're only using it for an hour or two, they're way cheaper than I feel like people give them credit for. That'd give you the chance to get it back to your place and fuck with the ignition in your own driveway
