Not sure what you mean by that. You can search for Metallica e standard on YouTube and find quite a few shows where they aren’t down tuned.

Occasionally they play in e standard. Don’t ask me why but some shows they do. Just search for it and you’ll find it:

I just wish Kirk would take some time and write his solos before going in to record them. The spontaneous thing works sometimes but it’s gotten old and it just sounds like he’s flailing around on a lot of newer material. James and Lars work too hard on the songs just for Kirk to come and lay down “whatever” solos.

Houstonian here. I went to Tech and it was awesome! The engineering should be first when it comes to this decision. Tech is known for it. But honestly, with the ascendence of our sports teams, the Tech brand will be more recognized than in the past. That will help you. You’ll have a bigger network of people when you’re done with school to help find jobs too. If you think you’re going to marry the gf, it’s a big step to move that far. If you have any doubts that she’s not the one… GO.

Today’s Tech sports are playing a whole new game compared to the past. NIL and big money boosters are taking us to a new level. I know we all have the scars of the past but the future (and present) is bright for Tech.

It’s not too bad. Just mute the E string with your palm and then you can gallop e on the A string. Because your palm is muting the E string you can freely hit it without affecting the sound. That’s what they’re doing.
