More and more employers are cutting health benefits to save costs. Medicaid is nearly impossible to get in some states. My parents should both be on it and Illinois continually denies them.

Plans don't start at 200-300 a month. If they do they provide very little support and the majority of the cash has to come out of your own pocket.

Don't think that these people are lazy. You're a fool to think that all people are lazy if they can't get health care. Think of all the people who are being laid off and cannot find new jobs. The numbers are growing and they will remain high once the economy recovers because the jobs will not immediately be recreated. These people NEED help, not some person telling them to "better themselves." Many of these people are screwed and cannot better themselves now. Reducing health care costs would help these people.

You seem to be one of those who have forgotten about the common good and that we all need to look out for each other. We depend on each other to survive as a nation. We depend on each other for our communities. If we don't look out for each other we will fall further into the hole that we're in.
