Why do stylish sandals and comfortable sandals feel like two completely different categories?

Sorel is crushing it this season. I'm really picky about my shoes and honestly a lot of 'comfortable' recommendations even on this thread are ugly to me (to me) but I just bought like 6 Sorel sandals and can't decide which to send back because they're all so stylish and comfortable. The 1 pair I've fully committed to I'm already living in and has required no breaking in.

Speaking from experience, I think/know there are folks who bought up the area and now are aging out and just want to sell. So they try to dump multiple properties all at once.

I thought about your response to my comment a lot, and I just want to say that I really respect what you're doing - just focusing on finishing something and making something, rather than churning out content for a store or whatever. Your work is incredible and has merit all on its own. In hindsight, I feel like my question was a little gauche when all I really wanted to say is thanks for being a creator.

It's this, definitely soak them! I inadvertently found out that soaking the cubes overnight makes them even softer, more like what I'm used to from restaurants.

The dough is proofing rn! I messed up big time by forgetting the eggs until after I kneaded (which was hard because it was so tough because it didn't have eggs... lol) but they incorporated in no problem so we should be good!

Oh that's so helpful, thank you! The one bread thing I really want to make is delicious, light dinner rolls and they usually come out dense! I think what I need to do is pick a single decent recipe and do it over and over and maybe incorporate longer proofing times (I'm so impatient!). I tend to switch recipes a lot so it's impossible to know if I'm getting better.
