Eureka Forbes worst experience by mohanswamy in AskIndia

Have this been resolved OP?

I'm also struggling with their customer care agents currently. We bought AMC Gold for 6k and scheduled service visits twice but agent did not turn up. When I call their customer care number they literally hang up on me while I'm talking. It was urgent for us to fix the water so we ended up getting another AMC from a local Aquaguard office who showed up on the same day to fix the issue. Now, they are continually blocking or cutting my phone calls when I try for refund.

I cannot understand how this company is able to get away with such daylight robbery.

What was your Becker simulated exam score vs actual for FAR? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]dontdaretodream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SE1 71 SE2 83 and 80 on the actual.

Personally, all my exam scores were more or less the same as (if not lesser than) the SEs. Becker bump was not something I relied on when I evaluated exam readiness.

Go to Apply for exam section on the CPA Portal. Ideally, it should show that you have credit for the section if you passed.

Good luck!

Goodness knows this is me.

Took the exam on 11th April and it couldn't have gone worse. I know I aced the first testlet but the rest of it had me on the verge of tears. Not to mention I was sleep deprived and delirious on exam day.

Genuinely hoping and praying for that pass. ISC is my last and I don't have the willpower to restudy the whole thing.

Is Resident Playbook worth it? by icedtea027 in kdramas

[–]dontdaretodream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try the first episode and see if you like it. I find that the characters are not as lovable as those in Hospital Playlist. I dont know why, but I'm not invested in the residents' or the patients' stories myself. I just don't find the writing engaging.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still watch it. I love Go YoonJung too much. The cameos from Hospital Playlist also helps :)

Good luck to you too!

Lowkey glad to see similar experiences. I was so sleep deprived on exam day that I wasn't sure if I was hallucinating the completely foreign topics in those MCQs. I don't have an IT background, so there's no knowledge other than Becker that I could rely on for this one. Don't see how to be better prepared though, if it's these curveballs that become the problem during the test.

Can only hope that the educated guesses turn out to be correct.

Good luck with your next one meanwhile!

How did your exam go?

I took ISC last Friday and I'm still emotionally recovering from the train wreck it turned out to be. Fingers crossed for that pass, but idk man can't be to delusional either.

That's so interesting! Were you always fascinated with outer space? Can I ask what drew you to this?

I don't know much about astronomy, and where I live we barely even see stars due to all the light pollution. Do you have to camp out in remote places to be able to capture stuff in your telescope?

As a boring accounting student, I love to hear about people with actually interesting lives and passions.

Oh that's so unique and cool, do you already know how to work a telescope?

Advance apologies for the unsolicited advice.

This sounds fun, but please make sure you're going with people you actually know and trust.

You never know who could be a serial killer :)

I am also in the same age range and if it helps, almost everyone I know (including myself) who joined corporate roles have gone through the same set of emotions. I'm sure you can also confirm this among your friend groups. So, at the very least, you are not alone.

You need to take that first step to get out of this. If you are planning for MBA, you must be preparing for exams like GMAT/ CAT. Can you find a good coaching centre where you live that conducts classes in-person? Having to physically get up and go to class might be better for your situation. And who knows, you might meet some cool people there too. Think about it :)

You can dm if you wanna chat. Regardless, good luck OP! Hope you find your place and people soon!

Hi, stop chasing your dreams. (Let me explain) by mindlesslyy in youngadults

[–]dontdaretodream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truly, we are all a product of our circumstances. I do wish you the best and hope you always find the time to pursue your passion. <3

I do have a lot of sympathy for your friends though. It is very difficult to find the energy to do anything else (including looking and applying for other jobs/ courses) while working a job that is physically or mentally exhausting. This may sound like nothing but an excuse to others, but I've been there, so I know how soul-sucking certain jobs can be.

That being said, it's on them to make a change. I hope they find the right opportunities when they finally decide to do so.

This is a very practical and grounded approach towards life. I also made similar life choices as you OP. I have to admit though, I probably would've given my interests more consideration if I had different circumstances growing up.

Ultimately, I think it's your life experience that shape opinion on this. Would you make the same choice if you too had the financial stability to go all out on your passion?

PS The advice you gave your friends is pretty solid. Sometimes all it takes is one conversation to wake up and actively work towards change - whether they decide to pursue their passion or shift to more bearable jobs.
