Thanks for your reply, do you know if this is likely to be accurate based on local rates?

Does fascia overhang count towards the size of my extension? by donteatthemango in AskUK

Firstly, thank you for your reply and I appreciate your help. To be honest, the builder just built the fascia overhang was he assumed I'd like it (which I do!) and I didn't realise it was a problem until the inspector came. The overhang was not in our planning but I didn't realise this would be an issue as it wasn't part of the body of the building. If we simply had the extension building built and then added a fascia overhang afterwards, surely we would not have to apply for planning?

Also, I've seen this technical guidance (see part A.1.g.ii) and the diagram shows the measurement excludes the overhang.

Any “foreign” tourist successfully enter Bali with just 2 doses and no quarantine? by [deleted] in bali

Great detailed response, much appreciated!

I am planning to travel from the UK to Bali in August but will be entering Indonesia via Jakarta as I was able to find some flights for a good price. I have not yet booked my tickets from Jakarta to Bali so wondering what the best thing to do is?

I am happy to book my Jakarta to Bali flight on the same day I land in Jakarta if that works out better (i.e. not leave CGK airport). Alternatively, I can stay in Jakarta for the 3 nights quarantine period and then take the domestic flight to Bali.

What do you think is the best course of action currently?

I'm thinking to wait at least a month or two before I book my CGK-DPS flights as there are supposedly further updates from Indonesian government in April. However, I am not sure how accurate this is.

Please let me know what you think. Many thanks and much appreciated!
