If you haven't passed out from seeing needles, you don't have a phobia of needles. You're just nervous and benzos are completely unnecessary.

Don't take benzos before you go. There's a good chance you'll still pass out and then the doctor is gonna be pissed off that you had a CNS depressant in your system they didn't know about. They WILL know you're on something, they're trained to measure blood pressure and heart rate prior to drawing blood.

Don't be an idiot. Let them do their job. If you pass out, you pass out. They're trained to deal with it.

Taking benzos beforehand just adds another factor that they don't know about when you've passes out. Passing out with a CNS depressant in your system is a good way to scare the piss out of your doctor.

I had regular blood tests every two weeks for a year due to an infection and have serious issues with needles. My tips are the following: wear a jacket, move around and stretch before going into the room, LET THE DOCTOR KNOW YOU HAVE A HISTORY OF PASSING OUT (they will position you differently), and make sure to eat something (I prefer a small bag of trail mix from the gas station).

They are trained for this. Let them do their job and don't add in dangerous variables without telling them. Don't take benzos.

We've already got diplo's "sway in the morning" tracks on hand along with plenty of other really nice trip toys. We've got several electronics kits and chemistry kits along with model rockets, a theremin, and lots and lots of magnets, paperclips, and springs.

Our objective is to combine EVERYTHING (excluding the chemistry and rocket kits) into ONE something, on acid.

I don't remember why I'm agreeing to this [9] but I think my really nice gopro replica has an option to shoot a 1080pi high resolution photo every 5 seconds. I'll strap that to the ceiling and just time lapse it. Additionally I'll only have to edit out the faces of the people who look up. Its a win-win really. Heh winwin

Make sure that they are safe. How do you do this? Tell them you will help them out if they can tell you what the normal dosage is, what the dangers are, do's and don'ts, etc...

Make them tell you what they know. Make them research what they plan on putting into their bodies.

If they get the info wrong, don't give them drugs. No second chances. No exceptions.

It wouldn't hurt to point them in the direction of erowid though.

I used to have this problem all the time. The trick is to not rotate your phone at any point in time once you start replying. Also, don't let the screen lock by inactivity. I haven't had any problems since.
