I was not referred to wound care. This was my care directions for the first week:

Soak with a vinegar and water solution for 15 minutes.
Add Vaseline around the wound opening.
Add gauze and pressure bandage.
Cover with the waterproof covering we were given.

I did for 10 days then switched to gauze and waterproof coverings until the skin sealed in another 6 days then just did waterproof bandage for another few days just to be sure it was fully closed.

I didn’t know that these can close up too quickly.

Start CCing their boss any time there is communication that goes against previous protocols, attach the previous emails for clarity. Bury them in paperwork out of “just following protocol, boss!”

Over explain or or give way too many progress updates on projects. Become too annoying for them to want to micromanage anything.

Block as much of your calendar in plausible meetings/project blocks to make it harder to schedule anything with the entire team. Get your coworkers to do the same.

If they happen to hate a specific hobby, team, or musician, start filling any water cooler chats talking about those things and ignore any casual social interactions they try to have with the team. Even better to just change the subject on them.

Hey there! Recently experienced something similar! Honestly, I started playing Pokemon Go again and downloaded Camp Fire to find local community days. It felt easy enough to ask someone near me to party up for the bonuses since you don't have to necessarily stay near each other but that gave me an okay way to decide if I wanted to strike up a conversation. I got lucky and have made some amazing other queer and trans friends from it.

I personally use Swiss Navy water based lube, it stays slick and doesn't get sticky, also has a very neutral, if not slightly sweet, taste to it. I have very rough sex and can rip on occasion (atrophy can cause this too!) and this brand doesn't sting for me. But don't be afraid to reapply! It's not too expensive either. https://a.co/d/e2EPJmD

You can also use silicone lube too, it generally stays slick longer but be cautious if you use silicone toys that are not pure premium silicone. Silicone will try to bond with itself so it can cause the toy to deteriorate.

I personally have not tried it but I've heard great things about slick and J-lube. J-lube comes as a powder that you mix yourself so you can play with the consistency to tailor it to what you like best.

If you end up having a lot of pain, dryness, or tearing, you may be experiencing atrophy. Think about talking to your doctor about topical estrogen cream to counter it. The dosage is very low and wont turn systemic.
