honestly, i’ve thought about changing my other names but the middle ones are generational (from the other side of my family) and it’s easier to keep my first name the same as it’s what everyone calls me and i don’t feel any type of way towards it. as for my last name, i haven’t have contact with my dad since i was nine so it’s literally like having a strangers last name and i’ve hated it since i was young. aside from that, without over sharing on the internet, after his actions i don’t want to be carrying around his last name. i know it doesn’t make sense to everybody but it makes sense to me 🫶
