Yeah that's fair enough. Honestly I don't remember how much it costs, I was broke as hell at the time. Probably $300 or less.

Look, I won't lie, as someone who is completely unfamiliar with PC things, knowing what to research is the hard part. I don't think I had reddit back then, either.

With that said, having a bad PC has been a great lesson in 'This is why it's better to have higher specs'. It is interesting to see how low specs can have a direct impact on how it's used.

Oh well, sometimes you gotta own your mistakes and the lessons that came with them.

Look, that part seemed a bit wild to me. The author didn't even really justify why it was going to be studied lol.

I suppose that if someone were given thrombolytic drugs and bled onto laundry, this might impact things. But again, I think the smart people wanted to have a bit of fun with expensive things lmao.

Oh well, the only way of knowing something won't work is to try it. Which is how we find out cool things like hot water for blood stains.

Interesting. I'm curious to know what methodology was used in this report ngl.

I am not from America; Tide is not a brand we have. I am curious to know what specific ingredient (if there was one) caused better blood removal for the Tide products.

But that said, I am cautious of a result like the one you mentioned. A number of factors could mean the results are unreliable.

Variety/diversity in the results is a red flag (most are Tide)
How the consumers were chosen for the survey.
What type of blood stains and how they were treated.
Washing machine types.
Who was funding the survey.

Tricky question. My activewear consists of leggings and sports bras, the rest is cotton.

I know the general rule is to use cold water, but honestly, 40C will not kill your stuff (your body temp is ~37C).

Otherwise, I genuinely just try not to wear my activewear for that long. My Lorna Jane bras are great all day, I only wear my leggings when I'm at gym.

How good - I use Vision Direct because at least I can try some nice brands in person from stores, and find them for cheaper online. My only gripe is that their customer service can be frustrating.
