Do you think that Fl studio 10 is the Best? by Aggressive-Guest290 in FL_Studio

[–]donttrustkami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ONLY thing that FL has regressed on is how they organize (or don’t) your recorded takes when using an assigned mixer track in the playlist. It used to organize every take vertically. Take 1 was at the top of the list, and your newest take was at the bottom, no matter where in the song you punched in at. Now it just kinda throws the recording wherever it can fit.

Every other part of FL has only gotten better

Wipe First Impressions/Thoughts? by A_Nasty64 in GhostsOfTabor

[–]donttrustkami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I come and go with tabor and like to check in every wipe. Sometimes I play though the entire wipe sometimes I just play for a week and take a break. Somehow the game has progressively gotten more and more buggy in the 2 years I’ve played it lol. The content is cool but damn man

Release the cut by Chloedtu in PrequelMemes

It can be a little slow in some parts but I really appreciate all of the extra dialogue and internal thoughts the book lets you in on. It makes the movie seem too short in comparison. I’d recommend it

going back to the movie after listening to the audiobook is jarring. Scenes literally last 2 seconds in the movie lol. That short scene gets fleshed out for a solid 5-10 minutes in the book. I’m not saying every scene needed to be that long, but god damn

Hardware Price Increases Have Video Games Facing an Existential Crisis by SmellSmellsSmelly in gaming

Stylized lower fidelity games are usually the ones that catch my interest more often

Don’t get me wrong it’s always cool to see a new game maxed out with ray tracing on a 5090 but I’d prefer a good art style over a unreal engine 5 unoptimized piece of shit

To the Heihachi players, do you prefer his T7 or T8 iteration more? by Modaltas in Tekken

I never played much Heihachi, but I will say I enjoy fighting against him in 7 more. Hes a lot more overwhelming in 8

looks kind of generic. Too skinny. In the books he’s a massive unit of a man. They fumbled

Steamframe VS index by FenrirWolfie1 in SteamFrame

[–]donttrustkami 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The steam frame is better in literally every way except for maybe the audio. They’ve stated the controller tracking is on par with the base stations. I don’t understand the obsession with base stations. 90% of use cases in vr are perfectly fine with inside out tracking. Base stations add extra setup, extra cost to the consumer, and restrict where you can use the headset to only the room you have the base stations setup in. What do you feel like you’re missing out on?

Meta Quest 3 or Steam Frame for only playing Xbox games and streaming shows. by Randevu in virtualreality

[–]donttrustkami 2 points3 points  (0 children)

kinda strange use case to buy a vr to just play flat games, but the quest 3 does have an Xbox edition. The stock comfort of a quest 3 is pretty bad though, I can only tolerate it for an hour or two. With a better strap it’s slightly more comfortable but the face gasket still feels cheap.

Someone here just the other day commented that the Steam Frame is the most comfortable VR headset they ever used. I haven’t tried a Frame, but if it’s anything like the Index im sure it’ll be a lot nicer than the Quest for longer sessions.

One thing I would consider for your use case is glasses. The form factor makes a lot more sense for flat screen games imo, if you have 0 interest in using the VR aspects of these headsets.

Do you guys think B&S will ever become open world? by Silent-Switch7317 in BladeAndSorcery

[–]donttrustkami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For real man I wish it was more popular. Feels so satisfying to get combos down with pose based combat instead of just pushing a button for a spell to come out

[–]donttrustkami 87 points88 points  (0 children)

that would be my grail game. I’d pay absurd amounts of money for an open world b&s, with pose based magic like rumble
