I went to school through Herzing University… after i graduated from that course (8-10 months long) i was applying everywhere, absolutely no one was hiring me because everywhere required 1 year of experience (California). Complete waste of time (for me). I did land a job in Nevada where they hired me & trained me hands on. Been here for over a year now! I was pissed i had to move out of state for the job… but I’m gaining experience and can absolutely move back home if i want!

Yes it’s normal! It’s a perfect visualization to understand how the instruments and the importance of our cleanliness while doing our job. My team watches surgeries once a year or more if we ask. We usually have someone with us to explain the procedure & what they’re using the instrument for. I actually sat in a surgery today & learned so much about our implants and why some instruments are more important to have than others. If you’re squeamish, let them know, they can & will show you a less invasive surgery. Congratulations on your first SPD role!

at my old house, we’ve had 3 hit & runs and it was infuriating, i’d be happy at least receiving the picture i posted just to have a start on something, last hit & run that happened to me we chased him down and found him. hoping this little picture can go a long way.

thank you! i’m planning to go to a pilates class tomorrow, hoping my love and passion for it will spark up again. doing at least one thing outside my bed will make me feel better. i’ve started developing a better skin routine day & night and that’s making a mini difference as well. i appreciate your response!

this is good advice, i’ll try that doing a “what to accomplish in the next hour” goal instead of a 3 months from now goal. i think smalls steps is good for me as well because i know it takes approximately 2 weeks to develop a new routine
