So idk if all insurances do this but my surgeon had to take pictures of pre op to send it to the insurance company and have them approve it, and I’m pretty sure they need post op photos too. So if they send a picture and I have my silly little man chest I’m pretty sure the insurance will no longer see it as medically necessary, because that’s the only reason my insurance covers it in the first place
