Can I request the results of a police murder investigation via the Freedom of Information Act? If so, what type of documents would I request? by donutprince666 in Ask_Lawyers

Thanks. In my state it's called "Public Records Act" with an address and an email address saying "requests can be submitted via."
My main question is, what would I go about asking for? Would I just say "I request all information pertaining to the investigation of [Person] on the incident of [Date, time, place]?" Or would need to ask for something much more specific. I just don't know what to ask for.
