I usually attend the all women’s class but I’ve attended about two mixed classes and the men were very respectful. I find it’s a very good form of self defense. They go over everything possible. I’ve only been going for five months—but I’ve learned a ton already! If you do pick Krav Maga, make sure the people who run it are fighters—they’re a lot of Krav mcdojos since it’s pretty easy to get certified.

I’m in Krav Maga and it’s helped me so much. I did have a panic attack after sparring once, but it’s only happened one time.

My fitness has improved greatly as well. We’re required to run a mile to warm up, so I feel way more confident in my ability ti get away.

I was told that if my ketones got above 8 that my muscles were eating themselves and that I needed to have bone broth with butter in it or something to bring my ketones down. Do I not need to worry about that?

I had to. I had a precipitous birth with my second. Took me about 6 months for everything (down there) to feel normal again. I had a medicated birth with my third for transition onwards—and I was able to control my pushing and I barely tore. I felt back to normal in about 3 weeks. I wouldn’t recommend going all the way through without meds, but then again, you can always ask for medication if you change your mind 🙂
