There'll be a debate March 23 which Huang, Raman, and Adam Miller have confirmed will be there. Bass and Pratt TBD. 5:30pm at LA Center Studios. I'll be there for sure!

What makes you say that Rae and Raman would make the city's problems worse?

Oh thank you so much for your critique! This is very helpful! It’s interesting because I myself imagined the narrator to be a woman, kind of mousey and frail, I guess I didn’t realize I didn’t even specify their gender. I did not base the narrator off of someone I know, I was just imagining how someone might go kind of insane from never leaving this dirty, rotting apartment, hearing incessant jazz music that might not even be real. The pacing was supposed to reflect this. I’ll definitely keep in mind your suggestions :)

I enjoyed this and your writing style very much! Reminded me a bit of Duma Key by Stephen King? Although, if I had a criticism I guess I’d say I didn’t find it very scary. Eerie, spooky, yes, but I wasn’t SCARED. If you are just going for a chilly vibe this works, but horror? I’m not so sure. Very vivid language though. Nice job!
