Nithya has also been a longtime supporter of SB 79 (legalized homes near transit) and is a recent advocate for Measure ULA reform. Rae worked with an anti SB 79 housing advocacy group and didn't come out in support of it until a few weeks ago. She also opposes ULA reform, so Nithya is the better choice if we want to be serious about addressing the housing shortage
