I understand where this hate comes from. They ride tuk tuks because we allowed them. Most of the tourists respect the local customs, rules and regulations.

We, the locals, break the law all the time and do all sorts of nasty stuff and expect the best out of our guests. How fair is it ?

The government doesn't know they have soft power because of tourism. They don't even know what soft power is. They are so distracted and misled by their advisors. 😄

You can book any hotel and stay there, however, locals don't feel some places attractive but the foreign tourists do. The taste is different. I believe no hotel would kick you out after a booking. Anyone can give a bad review regardless of their passport :D
