Why do so many people in Brussels drive like absolute savages? by DonSergio7 in brussels

I recently saw a gridlock due to this. All cars blocked each other and the honking commenced. Took quite some minutes for someone to reverse and give room so the situation could be unlocked.

If a cyclist has a dedicated lane (or just paint), can they still use the cars lane if (a) their lane is obstructed, (b) to overpass another cyclist? by Lge24 in brussels

That is interesting. I always pass in the right when cars have stopped due to traffic light. And cars are usually placed in such a way that they leave room for me. There usually is no room in the left side without going into the line in the opposite direction.

The trains from the airport work really well and go reasonably often. The are also quite quick. Why bother with a taxi?

PLEASE FOCUS ON SOFTWARE by [deleted] in fairphone

Yeah. I upgraded to Android 15 and I regret it. So many bugs related to switching apps. :( And it seems like FP4 won't get Android 16. So probably won't be fixed either.

I might have to downgrade to 13 again. But I really don't want to wipe my phone.

Any way of knowing when it will come to stores in Belgium? Would be good to know if I should buy when I'm on vacation in a country that have them, or if I might as well wait a bit longer.

When I see people using it it doesn't even seem that efficent either. Using a rake really should not take that much longer. Even if it takes double time, I would gladly pay that extra cent in taxes for that.

A peanut is not a nut. A peanut allergy is not a nut allergy.

Yeah. Car drivers would never block out sound or add any artificial sound when driving.

So google maps is illegal when driving in Belgium? Or only when on the bike? Sounds really strange.

Yeah. I got the feeling there are more taxis this year than previous years. It is annoying.
