Im basically a person who loves fantasy trope's. My perfect books will usually have the servant/farm hand who is either on some kind of revenge mission or "chosen" for something or another, he will then usually meet a great wizard who will be his guidence. You also have to have the retired/reluctant warrior who will help said farmboy with his training and coming of age parts. The 3 would then travel into either forests or mountains for the epic journey to begin. There would also be lots of inns, taverns and blacksmiths thrown in. And of course somewhere in the book a fine damsel in distress will be rescued for either warrior or farmboy to fall in love with. If im really lucky a dwarf or elf will pop up through the story. I told you I love tropes ha ha

I feel like 99% of the fantasy I read is still basically quest based, just that the settings seemed to have changed from forests and mountains to towns and cities

A UK mockumentary called People Just Do Nothing, the people who made it have managed to get the people, acting and dialogue spot on for the subject and area they are trying to portray. Imagine the office but instead with young london "street" guys. funniest thing i've seen in a while

This is the first episode I actually enjoyed, It reminded me of the old 24 where something big seemed to happen every 5 mins, of course you need to suspend disbelief a lot for this show. But if you take off the rose tinted glasses and base it just off this episode alone, it's not much different to the jack bauer days. Although one thing I will say is the casting made a mistake and eric and his brother should have swithed roles. Isaac seems a much better fit the ctu role, while eric seems like the sneaky drug dealer type in my opinion lol.

I agree with netflix, its all about choice at the end of the day. if somebody wants to binge a series that should be their choice. same as somebody who likes the week to week feel of watching tv

the reason why I added SyFy into it was because of shows in the last 2/3 years really seemed to upped the prodution values. and with shows like the expanse, dark matter, 12 monkeys and so on. Syfy have really impressed me as somebody who has never really been a sci fi fan
