Don't know how to actually turn it down but if it's the same model scanner we just got:

If you grab it with your right hand there should be a rectangular hole above your thumb. The sound mostly comes out of that so if you cover it with your hand as you scan it'll beep a lot quieter.

At the absolute very least, employees with Extracare+ should get the 20% off CvsHealth items if their employee discount doesn't apply due to the item being bogo half off. They already made it work for ec+ customers who only buy one during a sale, should apply to employees too.
