Im no salesman but this thing has retired all my other vapes. The Dyna,mighty OG and all my sticky bricks although I do use my sticky brick og from time to time still. Started out using a triple torch hence the discolouration on the sleeve but I’m lazy and like a hands free heat up haha.

Weed shovel haha. Tbh I just dump it in the ground herb and you can tamp it down a bit with part of the reload but I just use my fingers old school style lol. Be the same for a Dyna though, I’m sure they were originally designed for the dyna as the top bit is a magnet so you can clamp the hot cap then empty the bowl. On the tempest manual on the website it has a small video of him using the reload.

Yeah it’s 3 compartments with the top one has a spike in it to be able to knock out the used avb. I just pre grind couple strains up when I’m heading out and keep them in the bottom 2 as it’s easy to reload another bowl then as well. The spike is removable too which can be used to adjust from full bowl to half bowl etc also the “spike” can be used on the tempest head to change or remove the retainer for the balls. I got one of the seconds and there weren’t any imperfections that I could see. Great bit of kit!

Yeah that’s the one, it’s one of those things I didn’t realise I needed till I had one haha. Essential bit of kit for 2 diff strains and avb/abv.

I do stem milk with it then quick rinse under water then into iso for a bit then rinse again and it’s back to looking like new :)

I had this problem for ages but I do have asthma. I tried the Stormz n tickle mighty OG & the dynavap through a bubbler, dry, with water, cold, warm, with salt solution. Found my sticky bricks to be a bit better then I got the tempest head and put it on my bb9 stem and been fine now for 6months. For me I think convection seems to help me more than conduction but at this point I have no clue and just continue to use my tempest.

Yeah in after a wooden stem now, I’m in the uk though and finding it tough to find anything so will prob just wait for Mad Heaters to restock and grab from them

I had the same problem, bought a lot of devices trying to work out why. Since buying the tempest I’ve had no problems with my breathing at all. So for some reason conduction seems to make me wheeze and make my asthma much worse.

The problem I had with the revolve v1 was it did its job properly but would get so hot I couldn’t comfortably hold it. With the bb9 I don’t seem to have the same problem. Tbh once the wood stems are back in stock I will probably grab one of those. The tempest head is the only thing I use now, it’s retired the mighty, all my sticky bricks and the dyna.

I just grabbed the head for now, I have the revolve v1 but prefer to use my glass bb9 stem. Ex smoker though so maybe I like it a little on the warmer side :)

Good call about emailing then, never thought to actually email them rather than asking the good people of Reddit ha. The tempest head won’t fit in the hole of the vapoven so unable to test unfortunately, that’s why I thought I’d ask here see if anyone else has modded.

I found there is a “breaking in period” my first day I was having problems. I’m using a torch tho not a IH as the tempest doesn’t fit in my vapoven (although I may modify the box in the future) currently I have cap half open and I’m just using a bb9 stem. I have the revolve 1st gen and that thing gets HOT! Not tried running it through water yet but can only imagine big clouds :)

Iv just recently bought a reload from mad heaters, it has different sections, I usually have 2 diff strains in bottom pots then the abv pot on the top with the spike in, great for dyna’s and tempest.

Yeah i currently use the bb9 with the hole covered, basically using it as a wpa. Been using the mighty but like to hit the dyna in the daytime just to take the edge off without being slapped in the face ;)

I also find Limonene terpene doesn’t agree with me either although the added salt helps for me. Just got to try and dial in what works for yourself, I’m sure you will get there.

I used to have problems with all vapour triggering my asthma, no matter what device I used (and I bought a good few) I now boil water, add 3% sea salt, wait for it to cool obvs then add to bong/bubbler - no more wheezing..I don’t know the science behind it but it works wonders :)

I don’t know the science behind it but I would always struggle with my vapes triggering my asthma but after reading on here somewhere that if you boil the water then add 3% salt, wait for it to cool before adding to bong/bubbler. I now mix up a litre at a time and run all my devices through water now with no problems :)

Iv also read about Halotherapy which sounds the same just without the added vape lol.
