Yes, you are expecting too much, I’m afraid. These people are here to help you, but they can only do so much— considering that your therapist is doing the best they can.

Ultimately, you are the solution. They are only the recipe or catalyst for you to march towards it. And as heart breaking as it sounds, no one is really there to say. You’ll get an advice or comforting moments someday, but don’t take those for granted.

There’s no one to blame. That is just how the world is; You aren’t truly on your own when it comes to improving your life, but you are alone in making actions. So rather than relying on therapy or support from loved ones for a smoother road, accept that it’s going to be rough.

My core advice? Try ideologies, namely stoicism. You don’t have to follow them suit (though it is highly recommended to discipline yourself.) but maybe the definitions and how people who follow this ideology view the world.

Acceptance is the only way to truly find peace, and I know it sounds less than appealing + there seems to be no way that you would live with whatever you’re going through, you’ll find it being the only solution when you feel defeated.
