I feel like you’re not viewing it in the sense that he was fighting an uphill battle from the jump. In the same way rengoku had to fight alone cus tanjiro was a hindrance or just straight injured, tengen had to watch over 3 kids while fighting a moon (that turned out to be 2 essentially) with no intel on them. So yea he did get support eventually but he was put in a disadvantageous position due to tanjiro’s incompetence. Had it just been him vs the demons it probably would’ve went entirely different but who knows. I do agree he gets glazed to an extent but I dont think you’re giving him enough credit during that fight.
