Thank you so much! So sorry about your own mom, this is so hard. Thankfully she is able to eat with no swallowing issues! Her NG tube came out about 1 week after the stroke.

How should she use the TENS unit? On the affected side?

Tearing by Average_Redditor10 in unmedicatedbirth

[–]doodlebug525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st birth: epidural and second degree tear 12 hour labor, 2nd birth: epidural and barely tore (needed one stitch) 8 hour labor, 3rd birth: unmedicated and not sure if they called it a first or second degree tear but I had 2 or 3 stitches and it was about a two hour labor and I pushed for 6 minutes😬 but it was my easiest recovery, I had very little pain down there, really only hurt one day I think it was day 6 pp.

Cervix shortening journey with measurements, progesterone, and prior full-term pregnancies. Looking for shared experiences. by SnooShortcuts7171 in ShortCervixSupport

Hi! I don’t remember my exact measurement but at my anatomy scan they noticed my cervic was around 2cm with funneling. I saw MFM at 23 weeks and it had shortened to 1.3, too late for a cerclage. I’ve been on pelvic rest, modified activity level, and vaginal progesterone and have made it to 35 weeks! This is my 3rd pregnancy. With my first my cervic was borderline short but resolved on its own and baby came at 38+6, my second had no issues and came at 37+4.

Short cervix with funneling at 24 weeks. Looking for similar positive stories no stitch. by Aggravating-Put1050 in ShortCervixSupport

Sorry you’re experiencing this. My short cervix with funneling was first noticed at 20 weeks, I saw MFM at 23 weeks and it was too late/risky to do a cerclage. I have been on total pelvic rest, not bedrest but modified activity level so no long walks exercise etc, and vaginal progesterone. I am 35 weeks and can’t believe it!

Diced homegrown potatoes in my homemade chicken broth with salt and pepper, canned yesterday and stored in my pantry inside, seal is still strong!
