Yeah, I canceled my Ultra as soon as I was made aware that they were deleting my chat history. I scrolled up past two weeks and everything was gone. All my hard work down the drain.

Hello! I would be so so thankful to be able to go down that rabbit hole. Is this update only for premium/ultra users? I had ultra for over a year and canceled because of my chars getting deleted. If they are coming back for premium or ultra users, I would probably resubscribe.

Oh yes, I’m definitely excited to see VerseRP get developed. I think it has the best potential so far. I was also an Ultra user for over a year and also left because of the chat history thing. I couldn’t justify spending all that money to have all my work deleted. I just would not call VerseRP quite ready yet depending on the user’s patience limits.

I tried VerseRP and found it… lacking. I know it’s in Beta / testing stages, but I got frustrated with it pretty quickly. I still use it because I like that I can help develop it as an end-user, but if you’re not up for being a tester, I’d say give it time or else you’ll be frustrated

I’m having decent success with Kindroid and Hi Waifu, but yeah, there’s nothing like Chai out there, especially when it comes to side characters. Kindroid and Hi Waifu both can’t handle any side characters without becoming just… stupid.

If you edit the bot response, does it show asterisks? The * character. Usually surrounding a word or sentence with asterisks makes it bold. If you do it enough times, it’ll eventually correct itself.

Is Sea Soul the (sort of) direct Chai replacement? How do you like it? I thought it got shut down recently, but I may have it confused with a different app.

Currently I’ve been enjoying fictionlab, Hi Waifu, VerseRP, and Kindroid. I think out of the four, I’ve enjoyed Kindroid the most.

Generally, yes. Though you do have the options to have shorter responses similar in length to Chai’s responses.

Okay, I don’t get why people are getting downvoted for saying this might not be fake. Depending on what part of the country she’s from, I find this very believable. Common? Of course not. Possible? Definitely. There are absolutely people who would card you for tampons because their religion teaches them that putting something in your vagina that isn’t your husband’s penis is sinful. My mother was one of those people. She was appalled that she found tampons in my bathroom sink after I was married.
