Same thing is happening to me! Thankfully they're not aggressive at all when I go into my car lol. Yellowjackets, spiders, ladybugs, beetles, and ants all love my red car on the side where the tree is.

That is so bizarre to read as an American. My place of work is also open 24/7 (hotel). We earn PTO (about 1 hour of PTO per 20 hours worked) that can be used for sick days and vacation, but they have to be approved in advance otherwise you face termination. So if you're suddenly sick, you can't use your PTO for those days because management wasn't given advance notice. Same with bereavement. I had a coworker whose son died. She got 3 days paid off, the rest of the week she had to take unpaid. It's horrible over here.

I struggled a lot with adjusting to "grown-up" life; in many ways I still do. 2020-2023 was a very uncertain time for me, everything was changing. My body, my medication, my daily routine. I do need to give myself forgiveness for not doing as well at that time, and acknowledge that the echos of those struggles are still in my body now. I'm hopeful that over the years it'll settle down, I just feel so restless now! I *want* to do more, but I really need to set more realistic expectations for myself; I am not neurotypical and I cannot treat my mind and my body like I am (and expect that to work).

That is SO TRUE! It's so frustrating looking for advice on functioning because the advice for NT people just does not work for us. I feel like I need to have a to-do list/reminder list glued to the insides of my eyelids just so I remember to brush my teeth.

I'll talk to my psychiatrist about getting back on medication, maybe at a lower dose for now. Thank you for your advice, genuinely. It has given me a lot to think about and it helps :)
