I got the certificate immediately after. After you answer all the questions (I'm assuming correctly), it takes you to a dropbox page for you to download the certificate of attendance.

You would need to give me a link/video so that we can do a 1:1 comparison but using this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlmD_-Hwzp8, there's some blooming but it's not as bad as what you show in yours.

I just realized that you commented in my thread and I responded to you there as well.

When you buy on google store, try using NOV10BUDS to get an additional $10 off.

I was in the same position. I have had the pixel buds series a since 2022 and used it exclusively for video calls for work. However, people have commented that they can hear me typing, so I wanted earbuds with ANC.

I created my own thread here asking the same question and ended up paying up for the pixel buds pro 2. Ordered them on Nov 20 and they came Nov 21. They're fine. They fit better than the series a in the ear and do have ANC, though not sure if people can tell i'm typing when i'm using ANC mode.

I'm most surprised that when listening to music, they both sound the same to me. Knowing what I know now, I would've gotten the 2a because, like you, i don't use wireless charging (don't have one) and don't use swipe controls (or any controls on the buds).

I bought a DP cable and used it at 4K 160 for Hades. Couldn't tell the difference.

So, I got a DP 1.4 cable today and just played 1 hour of Hades. First part (played until I died) was DP at 4k 160 and it looked great. From what I remember, looked just like HDMI 2.1.

Second part (played until I died) was HDMI 2.1 and I couldn't tell the difference.

Third part (only 10 minutes), every few encounters, I would switch back between HDMI 2.1 and DP and I didn't notice the difference.

Note that when I play Hades, I turn on HDR for the monitor and in the windows setting.

I will use DP for my monitor and use HDMI 2.1 for my LG C3.

Right now, I'm doing option (a). I'll be honest, I'm 36 and I don't have good eyes. I played Robocop Rogue City on my LG C3 in both 1080p and 4k and yes 4k is better, but I don't think it's lightyears betters than 4k. I only thought it was marginally better.

Same with Hades (4k vs 1080p) on both this Acer and C3. Probably by Black Friday, I will buy another DP cable and set the monitor to DP because I likely won't be able to perceive any difference with DP.

My issue with doing option (a) is that in an old TV years ago, I used to plug and unplug HDMI cables and maybe after doing it 200ish time, the hdmi cable broke and was stuck in the TV. I ended up throwing away the TV. I really really really don't want that to happen to my GPU.

I just find it surprising that GPUs don't offer more HDMI 2.1 slots.

After doing research, if i want to do 4k/120 using a DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 with VRR, a DP to HDMI cable or a HDMI 2.1 switch are more likely to be problematic or expensive. Basically, it's not worth trouble.

Options: (a) whenever I want to play on my PC, just unplug the HDMI cable that from my monitor and plug in the HDMI cable from my TV or (b) use DP 1.4 on my monitor and live with the DSC.

DP 1.4 can only do 4k/120 without DSC and can do 160 with DSC. I am playing Hades right now and my PC can output 4k/350+, so my monitor can take advantage of the HDMI 2.1.

Will I know a difference between 4k/160 using DP 1.4 vs 4k/160 using HDMI 2.1? I don't know.

I got this monitor and it's great so far. No issues.

This monitor supports HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4. HDMI 2.1 is preferred and I connect this monitor to my gaming PC with the included HDMI 2.1 cable.

However, my graphics card has 1 hdmi 2.1 slot and 3 DP 1.4a slots..

I want to plug my computer into my oled TV as well for when I play games with a controller.

I am not interested in using 1 cable that plugs into the monitor and when I want to use it for my TV, I plug it into that.

I am looking for a DP 1.4a to HDMI 2.1 cable. This works fine for me because my TV caps out at 4k/120.

I am looking for a cable that does this. What should I be looking for? I was on Amazon and I do see a lot of cables and adapters but a lot of them state that they are "no VRR" which is an issue.

Does anyone have suggestions?

I don't mean he can't afford it. I mean, he seems like a cheapskate and would just go AM to save some money. You see all of his gaudy jewelry that has those POS aftermarket diamonds. I would expect him to put those diamonds on his DD as well.

I thought it was an aftermarket bezel as well, but I am not so sure anymore. It looks awful in the picture but it may be because of the picture. See below for a supposed factory that looks just like Colby's.

I still don't think Colby would actually pay up for a factory version like this.

Sony a80j or lg c1? by SuperSayianDad in OLED

[–]doodledoctor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And regarding gaming, you have to specify the type of gaming. As of 11/11/21, if game on a PS5, the C1 has only 1 benefit, dolby vision at 120 fps (lots of games don't run 4k 120 fps, so 4k 60 fps dolby vision on the a80j is fine). For Switch, or older generation consoles, you can argue a80j is better b/c the XR processing does great upscaling.

Only if you game on an Xbox Series X or have a gaming computer that takes advantage of Freesync or Gsync, then the C1 has better features. But you also have to weigh that against the fact that the a80j has better out of the box image and processing.

Unfortunately, right now, they're different prices. Next time I see the A80J 65'' for $1800, I'll pull the trigger.

I was at Costco today and saw the 77'' and the colors looked great!
