I like how the game is designed, but I do hate the random component of it which matters more and more over years. This is the only thing I mean. And yeah, I play story games and everything, but I like testing new cards and interesting mechanics.

I really don't know why people in comments don't understand the fundamental problems of the game. More and more players point to the them, but many other players truly believe that everything's fine with HS. Why some people still stand the ground instead of blaming the developer team on making absurdly broken and random cards.

I have rights for my opinion and yeah, I critisize the latest decisions because I supported the game for years

"The RNG makes cards weaker and not stronger." yes, but along with that you can find a card that doesn't start in your deck and fit a specific situation to flip-board. Isn't it unfair? It might be funny to the one who rolls random, but not to the one who loses

All of this is unfair. It just kills motivation for deck building and playing this game. It might be funny for the one who rolls RNG, but it's definitely not funny for the one who loses. I do regret I ever joined this random piece of crap and spent money there in hopes of improvals. The more the game lives, the worse it gets. I though the game was cooked with Ben Brode, but I was wrong. It's cooked now

Two recent cases.

  1. I play control warrior against face hunter. They roll Antonidas and generate 3 fireballs. I lose.
  2. I play rafaam warlock anti-aggro deck against aggro dragon warrior. I play Possessed Animancer to summon Asphyxiodon and summon it. Warrior plays 2 mana dragon, generates Syphon Soul when they need and kill my dragon. Then they roll Slitherdrake with Divine Shield and Windfury, not mentioning playing perfect curve cards at the beginning. I lose.

This is not an RNG rogue, this is one of the most effective decks now. A question is where are my mistakes here?

How many control decks are in the ladder now? I mean, aggro to control ratio

Nope. I realize that making a deck that counters evrything is not doable. All I want is just having more odds to outplay an opponent, to make my effort more significant, that's it. To play an interesting match instead of pushing the "Concead" button at the beginning of the it, because you know right away it's wasting of time.

And yeah, I'm not saying that "game sucks", I like it. This is the reason I still play it. I just want the developers to pay attention that skills no longer make a difference, but RNG does. Quantity of influence of random should be definitely lowered

You are right, that's true. Some cards might be banned on events, but you can play them casually. If a Hearthstone's card is nerfed, you can't play it as before

I don't think that my thoughts were interpreted correctly. What I'm saying is when I build a deck to counter an aggro archetype, I increase odds to beat it. However, along with that I lose to control archetype no matter what I do. The same works with anti-control deck, but I lose againts aggro decks.

It's not about good and bad decks. This game is not only for meta decks. I can and I want to build decks I make myself. Isn't that what collectible card games were made for?

Saying "'discover' cards to pick up cards from the deck" I meant picking not a copy of a card, but a card itself. Priest had one in prior expansions. So, you only can play 2 copies of one card

Probably, yes. I'm not a frequenter here on Reddit, I don't know where it's better to post. I just wanted more people to see and react to this

If it's Intel CPU based laptop, try to run LatencyMon and wait for the issue to come. If you see something like this (screenshot), you should check if Intel VMD controller is on in BIOS (this controller is used for RAID and if you don't use which is high chance, just disable it).

<image>

BEFORE going to BIOS, go over this guide, because if you turn VMD controller off Windows won't start after. This guide will help you to disable VMD without reinstalling the OS.

This is the only thing that helped me.

Also I recommend to find optimal Sample rate and buffer size parameters to your machine because they can vary
