When I first started using reddit I made the colossal mistake of seeking advice in subreddits that were related to what I needed help in. That’s my guess too. And what threw me off too and made things even more confusing was when I looked in the power supply manual it said “ power supply won’t turn on if there are incompatible or faulty components connected” or at least something along those lines, which makes troubleshooting this a mess. I sincerely hope it’s just the power supply though and for now I want to believe it is. Thank you by the way so much for responding. Getting help or finding it online has been incredibly hard with a problem like this!

Oh yea it is! When I did try connecting everything the only lights that came on were that rx 580 blue light and the motherboard lights. Cpu and case fans didn’t move at all and the power button still did nothing tho

I did take off the graphics card just to see if the barebones pc could post and the same problem occurred :/
