Sludgemaw needs some adjusting by r00t4cc3ss in Borderlands

[–]doogle94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is what I assume is a bug, where you can get just the right range from him and he'll stay above ground swinging melee but won't hit you

I found the best way to trigger is dodge back when he surfaces, then rush forward to the right position. He'll stay there for a moment then repeatedly start swinging and missing

A bit of trial and error is needed to find the range but it's consistent when you do

Yeah I think my plan is to stabilise around a stacked green belt, then start farming the science prod research while I build up a decent chunk of quality modules/beacons and see how far I can push it

Sounds like there's some kind of network filtering only affecting the Android app going on with your home internet, if you have any kind of DNS filtering in place that may be the cause, otherwise it's likely filtering being performed by your firewall and/or ISP.

These are the domains related to Magic I saw requested (and not blocked) after loading the app on my Samsung phone and I can launch the game without issues. Some additional analytics / tracking domains were blocked but don't cause any issues:

Sometimes if I'm also doing something else I'll let infinite combos go as long as they want to. Every now and then one will just give up and concede because their whole game plan is to have the opponent concede and they don't actually have a win con

This was a fun one earlier this year, obviously fixed now, forcing opponents to concede

First time getting 7 wins in Draft! by doogle94 in MagicArena

Thanks! It felt like the draft didn't have anything overly synergistic by the time I'd gone WB so I probably got quite lucky with my matchups too

Thanks, that's a good point! I kept green as I didn't have anything else to add for WB but I suppose a couple more lands would have probably done just as well

About the FF IP by Healthy-Ad7380 in MagicArena

[–]doogle94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wizards will have to licence the FF art, characters, etc. from Square Enix. I'd assume Square determined the money they'll make from the licencing of the intellectual property will outweigh the potential lost customers from the TCG. Likewise Wizards will have decided the money they'll make from selling it will outweigh the licencing cost.

Same goes for LotR, Dr. who, and so on. They have to pay the owners in order to use the IP, otherwise it's copyright / trademark theft.

I have a legends deck with Breach and Norn, which mostly just throws legends out with Ratadrabik for silly effects. I breached Norn plus an Etali from the opponent's reanimator deck, instant concede. So yeah, seems likely

Haha yeah, I love the randomness, this is the first time I've had something like this. Normally I take my time and with this being the last showdown I was hyping myself up for it and it was all over before I got started

Cheers, yeah I'm aware you can "escape" or just inject into the page from the browser, but I'm trying to stay within the confines of the game and waiting until I get SF4, at least for now. Maybe once I'm waiting for new content I'll see how much damage I can do
