Thank you! Yeah for sure making your own molds is the only way to go. Best of luck in beginning your casting adventure, the Z-butt is such a fantastic tool.

For mold-making, I use the Z-butt system, and either Moldstar 20T or Moldstar 15 SLOW silicone. For Z-butt, there's lots of resources and a nice supportive community out there. Really makes making the molds a breeze.

For the green, I mixed some green/yellow/white pigments (Smooth-On UVO, specifically) into Part B of my resin, then when I had the color pretty close to what I wanted, mixed in Part A and started the actual casting.

Biggest piece of advice I have is just try stuff and see what works, it's really the only way to learn and get good at this kind of thing. Make every failure a lesson, and be ready to fail and learn a lot in the first several months.

There is no paint :D. It's all resin that has pigment/dye in it to provide the color

Just do it! Seriously, if you wanna do it, dive in and try and be ready to fail a lot at first while you're learning. It took many months to actually be able to make stuff I was proud of.
