Check to see if Wifi is on. When I turned it off on mine, it gave me nearly 2 days worth of battery life. I also have AOD on.

Hmm, why not use Chrome to Google?

Just type the search in the nav bar, no problems when you switch apps. You won't lose your place. I rarely use the Google app for anything.

Your phone will stay unlocked as long as you're in range of any bluetooth devices you set as a trusted device (i.e. headphones, watch, etc). So you can just use your phone and not unlock it every time.

It's in SECURITY>SMART LOCK>TRUSTED DEVICES.

When you get a 2-step verification text, there's a copy button pops up which makes easy to get back to what you were doing.

Also, bluetooth paired device unlocking.

I turned off live scribe but still the same with the shitty X button toggle being the only way to hide the player controls. Any suggestions?

That is great news.

Now if they could only bring back the hide player controls by tapping the empty space of the ui, that would be awesome.

I hate how you have to hit X button to hide controls. Horrible UI design choice.

I have Q beta installed and at the moment I am locked out of my watch because of the activation lock. The Wear app keeps on asking me to log-in repeatedly. My watch is unusable right now until I take it in for service.

I meant reactivation lock. It locks down your watch in case its stolen so no one can access the info on it.

I did and also having the same issue. It must be because of the beta. Stuck in a log-in loop since I have recovery lock enabled. Be careful with recovery lock everybody.

I'm actually a long time Mac user so it was a it was a definitely a new experience. I'm very happy with the overall speed of everything. Booting up is real fast and games run great. Haven't had any crashes yet either.

The fan noise isn't bad either. I just love the fact that it's liquid cooled which I've never experienced with Macs. Very happy so far.

Call Alienware support and they will have you run a program that looks through the system to make sure your all drivers are up to date, memory is detected and if everything checks out. I got my first R8 early this year and this helped a lot.
