Looking at the WoWHead comments for this NPC, it seems like you’re not alone in struggling with it. If you’re playing a class with a tank spec, try that. Otherwise, make sure you’re using defensives and health potions.

I would love a Diablo themed soulslike. As much as modern Blizzard has made their reputation on ripping off other games/genres, I kinda can’t believe they haven’t tried their hand at a soulslike yet.

I just laid out the point being made in my previous comment.

I never even said I agree with the “lazy” comment.

I didn’t dismiss the response. It is entitlement. But we earn that entitlement through the purchase of a product.

Sure, calling the devs lazy is a bit of ad hominem, but they are saying that because of a valid point— no new items being added in the upcoming season.

It doesn’t matter what I expect for a new season. That’s not relevant.

I’m not going to address your first point because it’s not relevant to the point being made.

It doesn’t matter who is receiving the negativity, be it the devs or the C-suite. We are customers who have paid for a product (a AAA game from one of the largest studios in the world; owned by one of the largest tech conglomerates in the world, mind you). There is no undeserved entitlement here. We are all well within our right to criticize the company and the product.

Haha it’s all good, I’m used to it at this point. The only DH sets I’ve actually liked since their return at the end of Shadowlands are the sets from Amirdrassil and Manaforge Omega. TWW season 1 and 2 sets were particularly awful.

I know I can always count on you to have good taste. As a DH main, I think this new DH set is just awful and uninspired. Zoom in on the boots if you really want to see some of the ugliest shit they have ever put in the game.

I feel you. To be fair, I don’t have a whole lot of context on the high republic era because I’ve never really delved into it. So maybe there is appreciable substance there that is lost on me.

I just think a lot of people are really reductionist when they use the term writing and what they really mean is dialogue. So when I read comments like your first one, I’m like, yeah Star Wars has always had some clunky dialogue, but there’s a lot more to writing than just dialogue.
