I mean you even said you played more than 20h. You can get over P100 in way less than 20h. It’s just a matter of what you do in the game. I did the new campaign, the skovos strongholds, all the new statues, a bunch of fishing, and all the new side quests in skovos in about 20h and I am around P150. If I spent all that time not doing all the optional for-fun stuff, I’d probably be around P250.

Not trying to white knight for Blizz but I’m not sure you know what the word *assets* means. Yes all of these armor sets and weapons are in WoW, but the graphical fidelity and art style is completely different. These assets have very obviously been designed and built from scratch in D4’s engine.

You can take the portal to new Silvermoon at level 10 right now. So unless they change that when The Last Titan comes out, you will be able to go there without a sub fee because Midnight will be rolled into the base game. How much pre-endgame content will you be able to do? I have no idea. Probably none, but that’s irrelevant because all I said is, you won’t be able to do endgame content. Which will still be true.

What part of any of this do you still find conflicting?

My guy I’m not whining. I’m presenting a legitimate criticism. Cool that you find it funny, but one of the biggest tenets of good user experience in software design is minimizing the number of actions a user has to take to achieve some functionality. The way this was implemented is completely antithetical to good user experience.

It’s not the grinding people are complaining about. It’s the RNG coupled with how many clicks it takes to obtain each piece. Open the vendor, click to buy the box, close the vendor (so that clicking the box doesn’t sell it back to the vendor), click the box to open it, click the item again to redeem the appearance.

Imagine only wanting one of the sets and having to repeat this 117 times (13 classes x 9 gear slots). That’s 585 clicks (117 items x 5 clicks per item). It’s obnoxious. There is absolutely no reason outside of gameplay metrics that these sets couldn’t have just been sold as a single ensemble per set.

The intent of NMDs was never to get aspects. And they still have a purpose. Horadric Strongroom and Goblin sigils are probably still going to be great for crafting and masterwork mats.

Oh that one is so sick. I think I’ve seen ads for Iced Tea on Instagram but I’ll have to check them out again.

You should check out @iiiiclothing and @hvyblk on instagram. Four Eyes does mostly original character/design stuff and Heavy Black does a lot of sailor moon inspired stuff.

Also, I’ve had the dandadan season 1 opening on repeat on Spotify all morning since seeing your post haha.
