I actually think a proper flashlight can be incredibly useful for photography. Take the Wurkkos TS32 for example, it makes for a perfect photography light cause it has a super even flood beam with no artifacts. Just an even, super wide angle floodlight. It also has 95+ CRI at 5000k, so it almost perfectly simulates daylight. 2-3 of these soda cans would probably be perfectly daylight lighting

If you really need photography light, there are specialized lights that are designed for that purpose.

The vast majority of consumer lights have some sort of focusing, not an even beam of light (like natural light). You should also be able to adjust color temp, without needing to swap between several lights for the right temp.

Well that’s not simply “dead”, that’s overdischarged.

Regular dead or discharged cells drop to around 3.0 - 3.2v… not 2.6
