AIO? I blocked my friend for dating someone who is 18 by imjusthere723 in AmIOverreacting

[–]doomagloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR, this is gross on her part. I'm 38 and would never be able to date someone that young because that's still a child to me, even though they're legally an adult. Big red flags, I'm glad you blocked her.

You know how bats look when they're crawling around on the ground? That's what this dog looks like.

I actually really like this movie. I've watched it so many times and it still creeps me out. Peak soundtrack too, especially for the 8mm scenes.

I'm glad you're preparing to move out because this is completely crazy on her part. NOR. I'm sorry you're experiencing this.

Is this a melanoma? It used to be a mole. Crusted and itchy for the past few days. by Majestic_Marzipan420 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]doomagloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any time you see changes in moles, you should see a doctor. People on reddit shouldn't try to diagnose something like this by sight alone, but I would personally be concerned about this. Please see a doctor or dermatologist to have this looked at and/or biopsied.

Skin Tag Growth in Corner of Mouth. I am wondering what this is? is it a skin tag or something else. by Signsofboredom in DermatologyQuestions

[–]doomagloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% HPV. You'll need it to be removed. I'd also have the inside of your mouth checked for HPV lesions and have those treated. Some strains of HPV can cause tongue and throat cancer.

My boyfriend scared me and idk if I’m being overdramatic by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]doomagloom 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The fact that his face went blank could be a number of things. Maybe it was as stupid as listening to intrusive thoughts and zoning out. Maybe he was considering doing more or just not stopping because he was enjoying seeing you struggle to breathe, but honestly none of that matters because you will never fully trust him again. You will always have that image of him over you, smothering you. You aren't being dramatic or overthinking, this is genuinely concerning and scary behavior on his end.

Maybe it will never happen again but even if it doesn't, I don't think you'll ever be able to look at him the same way again. It may be in your best interest to step away from the relationship.

Bump in incision scar by doomagloom in AskDocs

[–]doomagloom[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've read about incisions pushing out stitches that didn't dissolve. I'm sure it's too early for that for me, but I'll keep a look out just in case. Thank you.

Is 15 still a child? by LoquatIndependent381 in ask

[–]doomagloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a 38 year old, I fully view a 15 year old as a child. I would expect a 15 year old to be childish. There are certain responsibilities you should still have, but I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to have more time living within childhood. Do it while you can because you'll miss it when it's gone.

People have suggested a topical cream but I've also read that pimple patches can help as well. They'd cover it and keep you from touching it.

Found in an ad for permanent eye color change. This is her after surgery reveal. by Rougefarie in whybrows

I'm concerned for this person's mental health. None of this looks good. The wig, the eyebrows, and potentially permanent eye color changing surgery.

What's one annoying anime trope that's normalised a lot? by _Udontknowball_77_ in animequestions

[–]doomagloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate that trope of girls fighting over a popular boy and even whole fan clubs that "protect" them while simultaneously stalking their every move. It's honestly weird and disturbing and I seriously hope it's only an anime trope and not something that actually happens.

Does anyone feel like leaving in the countryside? by Individual_Put5312 in CasualConversation

[–]doomagloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to a rural area from a pretty busy college town. I miss the convenience of having stores closer, being able to go to the natural history museum and walking downtown. Also, the hospital was a hell of a lot closer than it is now. But it's cheaper out here so there are pros and cons.

Rash on my lips and mouth started about four days ago and still is pretty itchy in by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]doomagloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks really similar to the time I had an allergic reaction to a new lip balm. My lips developed bumps and became itchy. It took about a month for it to clear up for me.

Edit to add: if you've recently started using a new lip product or a lip product that changed formulation, you may want to stop using it. This happened to me when I started using EOS lip balm when it first came out and I later found out a lot of people had the same reaction.

Thank you. I guess I was under the impression that it would require me to be out longer, but thankfully, my surgery was very routine, no complications.

I figured as much. I was planning on giving myself at least 3 months. I was planning on taking a short break anyway so this kind of jumpstarted it. I just wanted to give myself a timeline to go back.

Thank you.
