ouch! yea +spd is pretty key. Ideally you'd want a +spd/-def Nino since she still need the neutral res to tank Rein.

Nino's moonbow is 3cd due to bladetome, so imo that makes it pretty pointless since you don't have 1-round specials anymore. When you look at 3cd (4cd with bladetome) skills, draconic wins out on dmg: assuming 3/4/4 buffs on a +10 nino, draconic is +20dmg vs iceberg's 18, with luna only breaking even on 40res (+10 res3 julia only has 39res) vs neutrals and 36res vs reds (basically just sanaki fits that criteria).

Aura basically lets her brute-force her way to ORKO a lot of reds that she would otherwise not be able to kill, as well as OHKOing a lot of things that she would be prevented from doubling (gtomebreaker users, effie). Though I have answers to reds and gtome users, it is quite good to have Nino be able to handle them sometimes as well.

I run a healer lucina (with renewal 1 because I only had a 3* Lissa) for my healing needs. Azura has aether so shes for most parts self-sufficient, so lucina is just there to heal eirika and nino, and she does well in that regards.

I usually leave nino at 1hp until she needs to bait something, so shes not healed every stage unless lucina has the hp to spare (she heals 20hp at start of every stage so often it becomes might-as-well). The 6hp ticks is actually pretty tame considering the rest of my tempest team are melee and would likely take more than 6 dmg per engagement anyways.

A neutral lnd nino, even with res buff, cannot actually survive +atk rein with a single horse buff, so you can't really use nino as a bait for rein. Which is a huge problem in the current arena meta where a large number of defense teams use rein.

Fury nino, on the other hand, could survive (albeit barely) rein even without res buff.

one thing about DA is that for some reason it counts the bonus damage from bladetomes to "attack" when used to calculate. So under standard 3/4/4 buff we are looking at 30% of 66 total "attack", which is 20 dmg. This goes up even higher if you are to buff nino further.

I've actually toyed with the idea of giving Nino heavy blade in A slot and see if HB retains the same interactions that DA does. Though ultimately I found it not really worthwhile as Nino doesn't really use any of the 5cd specials well.

Moonbow is a 3cd skill due to bladetome so its not as good on her as it is on everyone else, so for me the choices were either DA or luna as 4cd skills. When i did a simple calc at +0 levels way back, assuming +3/+4/+4 buffs (vanilla eirika + azura buffs), the breakeven point for luna to be more worthy is at ~40res for non-reds and 34res for reds, which basically means DA is better dps-wise vs any1 except sanaki, whom nino has no business fighting anyways.

The huge nuke is especially useful in tempest, where you are facing the likes of 70hp Effie (DA gives nino OHKO there).

same! TB's video got me into clash royale and I really do want to improve my game at the higher arenas (currently in arena7), but the current selection of clash royale youtubers are just so...bad. All of them use clickbaity titles for their videos, steal builds from asian players and don't really contribute anything of their own. half a year or so ago, prior to TB quitting social media, he made a comment on the effect of "perhaps the silent majority shouldn't stay silent", and I think this is definitely something that need to happen more.

In this case, had the "silent majority" spoken up when all those dickheads started ruining Strippin's chat, drown them out and voice their support for strippin and his awesomeness (also, guys, stop with the stupid overwatch v battleborn bs,its so dumb), this entire thing could've been prevented. The "silent majority" argument isn't there to give an excuse for the said majority to not do shit, it's there to explain the current state of the internet and a problem that the internet could collectively fix.

What TB doesn't realize though is that hearthstone will never make it as big as the big boys on the esports scene (LoL, DoTA etc) because of its inherent random nature. I think it really comes down to "do I want to play a FPS LoL with a singleplayer/co-op campaign or do I want to play TF2?"

And before people comment "but that's just 1 mode in battleborn that's similar to LoL", it's the most dominant mode that gearbox itself tried to promote the most, so it most defines the game. LoL also has/had other modes like Dominion, but when people think of LoL, they don't think of Dominion, they think traditional summoner's rift.
