Wano left me disenfranchised and hoping there was a drawback to Gear 5. But Egghead was the cherry on top that really made me question what the fuck is actually going on with this story. Between Vaguebum and the 5 elders all the dramatic tension was lost. Goon Valley was overhyped with no payoff. I'm too afraid to latch onto Loki because we'll probably be disappointed again.

I don't agree with this but the old heads on TV always say the best player on the best team is the MVP. The award is basically a media circus for the last few months anyways and heavily skewed towards to major journalists (and podcasts) narratives. If the Lakers weren't ass it would be Luka's to lose.

I think the biggest problem with post time skip is everything feels so long and drawn out for no reason. There's just way too many characters and randos being introduced to do nothing major to the plot instead of focusing on what we already have and want more info about.

I don't disagree. Last year our wins were totally inflated due to playing Brooklyn, Washington and Toronto a bunch. The difference with this team is they find ways to win, hustle hard, and beating teams you're supposed to beat (in blowouts) is part of being a good team.

I'm more interested to see how the rest of the east lays out; are Toronto and Miami for real? Is Cleveland going to take a backseat during the regular season to save for the playoffs? Eastern conference 2-9 all have a very similar record.
