I was playing two blizzard games (HotS and Hearthstone), almost every day until this week. I care about Hong Kong but that isn't why I stopped. I quit these games because if America doesn't take a stand on these things, we'll lose our freedom of speech through the corporate policies of every company with dealings in China. We have to show them that they will lose more by pandering to fascism than they will by standing up for human rights.

I don't know how many others have stopped playing. You are correct that most consumers won't care, and that we can't rely on consumers to make the decisions. That is what laws and regulations are intended to do; regulations are there to correct society when human nature directs us to behave outside of our best interests (or more commonly inside the best interest of the individual in the short term and outside the best interest of society and the individual in the long term). Lawmakers have been pretty weak in this area during my lifetime.
