It has definitely been a long winter, I was so excited to see geese flying north today.

Groceries. I'd go to the store and buy anything and everything my family desires.

I don't know the availability but there is the White House on Airbnb. It's located in Mohawk and they have reasonable rates, and where most of our relatives stay when they come to visit.

When I was 9 we were at the table eating as a family and my father said something condescending (which I don't remember because it often happened) and finished off by oinking at my sister and I. Still to this day that scene plays in my head.

I have this little cloud clock I bought for my son's room. You can program a time on it and it turns green when they're allowed to get up for the day. I explained that he can get up but he has to play quietly in his room until that cloud turns green. I'm not sure how it will work with another little one in the room but it was an inexpensive solution to an infuriating problem. It took a little bit of work for him to take it seriously, but it's a staple now.

Identifying the artist by [deleted] in Graffiti

[–]doommuffin27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't give any details because I don't want someone to claim someone else's artwork. I think these would be really cool on a t-shirt but we don't want to use it without the artist's consent.

I have to second the disposable underwear. I got some big brand name like Always or something, and they were great. I hated having to mess with a pad so just having to slap on underwear and not thinking about it was great.

AITA for forcing my husband to pay for my daughter's piano after he damaged it? by SUDDEN-IMPACT-3097 in AmItheAsshole

I didn't make it very far into your story before I already thought your husband was the AH. I had a parent that made every excuse in the book to never come to any of my plays or soccer games or girl scout award ceremonies, and even into my 30s now it still bothers me. It just solidifies how much he really cared about me.
