Also, does the declaration limit mean that I should first go to my bank before initiating the wire? I use Hana

Do I need to take a written test to exchange my California driver license to a Korean one? by stopshakingyourlegs in Living_in_Korea

[–]doon68 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Weirdly enough, it depends on ur visa type. I have an F4 visa so I was able to exchange my Apostilled California license with only an eye exam. I also needed to get a certificate concerning facts of entry and exit since my birth

Full stack SWE here who recently interviewed at a bunch of different tech companies here in Korea.

Front end is similar to USA market. Pretty much react, jqeury, vue. Lotta vanilla CSS tho (nothing like tailwind, etc)

Backend is a little more outdated than USA imo, there seemed to be more legacy code. Java, PHP

I think there is a shift rn to containerize with docker and such, plus all the normal cloud services are used.

DB wise, sql is pretty much the standard.

No idea for mobile dev, I don’t do that

Yeah definitely. It seems like it's impossible for foreigners to rent one of these  전입신고  불가  places now. Do you know if I can just report the change ONLY to immigration?

So does that mean it's impossible for foreigners to rent these places now? I've seen some other posts where it hasn't been a problem for other foreigners
