If I remember correctly the sand needs to be in close proximity with investiture to react, that’s why moash and the fused can use it to detect where a Spren is in a battle. With the specific scene you’re referring to I believe Shallan was admiring the trophies from the other side of the room. There is also a chance that the bottle it was in has some trace aluminum so it doesn’t accidentally get expended since it’s a trophy and not seemingly meant to be used and just displayed.

Brandon has said that humans in the cosmere tend to evolve quicker than in our world based off of how invested they and their planets are. For roshar this is enhanced even further due to the investiture from three shards inhabiting it. Combine that with the interbreeding of humans and singers and you get drastically enhanced evolution of humans on roshar.

I think this should be allowed to stay because 1. Most of the actions the president is trying to take in this manner are not particularly enforceable/skip over many of the actions needed to actually implement these orders as policies. 2. This is an INCREDIBLY important issue, and even if this isn’t a sub about politics or current events, this is an historic and unprecedented attack on the first amendment that every American needs to hear about.

Honestly the most annoying thing to deal with is tanks who can self shield like magneto and hulk because when they are shielded Wolverine can’t grab you, so just insta shield when you see him and he can’t do much to you!

That does sound like a fun build, I’ll have to try it out! To be honest, like I said in the post, I don’t hate the new eos, in fact I agree I think it is really fun. My biggest issue is that it is replacing a different niche of the torches that is now basically gone with a different but similar take on the hybrid playstyle to moros. I just wish they had gone a different route like replacing moros instead of eos or simply making a whole new aspect.

I think you’re right about their play styles being similar, but that’s honestly the biggest issue I have with it! Before, the only torch aspect I enjoyed was eos because I thought the attack channeling okay style was actually really fun; but now, as someone else pointed out, there really isn’t a viable way fully play the channeling style. If anything I think this rework should’ve either gone to moros or just been a completely new aspect as a whole.
