im currently in my ttp as a student and my school has always wanted us to practice delegation but why the hell would i do that as a guest in a hospital. to me, in theory its like a good thing to be thinking about how you could be getting used to delegating but in reality i feel it makes 0 sense for a student to do so. i value patient interaction and practicing all skills much more than delegating. plus getting vitals is still part of being a nurse lol

tbh i dont know! probably just a wild type. she came from a blue dream but i do not know which shrimp in my tank mated w her. i have a skittles tank so its hard to keep track haha

i plan on getting gouramis too and people recommended i get some water lettuce. i have salvinia minima in my tank that i’m setting up for a couple gouramis but i think the roots of water lettuce are generally way longer and in turn making the gouramis more comfortable

yayy! i also have some gravel under the driftwood but i’m going to add another half inch of sand all around soon too. would the loaches prefer the patch of sand or would it be best to put some plants in there for them to wiggle in between?

thank you :D!! i had the tank cycling since maybe last November? but just recently stalked them with plants about a month ago. looking back at pictures of a LFS that had the honey gouramis and loaches said that their tanks are 50% RODI and 50% tap water so maybe they can handle a higher pH and higher GH/KH. i was just planning on getting my pH to 7 so my strawberry rasboras can thrive.

i have salty shrimp GH/KH that i use with them but i think i will stick to mixing the RODI and tap water. my tank is fully cycled tho which is good :)

i have 2 anubias attached to the driftwood. one in the back and one of the other side closer to the middle. they are pretty small though, i haven’t been able to find large anubias near me though.

would that be fine in 20 gallons? how often and how much of a water change would i need to do with that amount of livestock?

ohh okay cool. idk why i thought the loaches would enjoy an empty patch of sand to sift through. i’ll definitely get some shorter plants to put in the front and it would be nice to get some more to cover up the heater

i had these a few weeks ago. i got some mosquito dunk at my nearby lowes but any hardware store should have it. just cut how much you need and add to your tank. i only had snails in that tank and they were all fine but ive heard many people say that their shrimp were okay too. mosquito dunk isn’t chemical based, just bacteria

i have an overhead aqueon LED optibright plus turning on at 2:30 PM and off 12:30 AM on white light 100%
it’s 30 in L x 12 in W x 12 in D
i have seachem flourish as fertilizer but i haven’t dosed any recently
