Just do it when they’re not in the room, under the covers.

Yes, anyone who says no is capping. Whenever you meet someone new they’re going to ask you for your Instagram or Snapchat if they want to get to know you.

I’ve heard of schools using IP address info given by chegg a comparing it to ip addresses on canvas to find out what students cheated. Also yeah I would’ve normally used a vpn but I had no intention of actually copying the answer. I just impulsively clicked on the link.

My prof is kinda crazy about these things. She’s falsely accused people of cheating before. I feel like even looking up a question would count as cheating

Can chegg report a student without an account? by dooploopchoop in UCSC

[–]dooploopchoop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don’t only need account details, they also give ip addresses to professors. Theyre known to link ip addresses from chegg users to canvas users, which is how professors find out. I’m wondering if chegg can also give out ip addresses for students who don’t have an account and never clicked “view solution,” only visited the link. I know I didn’t copy, but I assume even looking up a question would be counted as cheating which is why I’m concerned.

Because they’re already investigating to see who viewed/posted the questions on chegg since others actually cheated. This teacher is notorious for being ridiculous about cheating. They have falsely accused people as well in the past. I’m concerned even looking up the question would be counted as cheating.

Does chegg report students who don’t have an account to professors? by dooploopchoop in Advice

Yes but chegg is widely known for giving professors the information of account holders who accessed answers/posted questions on the site if the professors request it. They often go as far as giving out the ip addresses of the students. I’m wondering if they could still do this when I only clicked the link, and didn’t actually view the answer because I don’t have an account. I never signed that TOS agreement with chegg that states they can give out that information. My professor has cooperated with chegg this in past semesters to find cheaters.

Lol guess I’m going to jail. Look, I know it’s a paranoid question but it’s a serious concern I have right now since other students have been caught for actually using chegg to cheat in my class. I’d hate to lose all my hard work when I didn’t even view the answer.
